Tim Roda

Works / Exhibitions / CV / News

Tim, an MFA graduate, is a New York based photographer and is represented in both North America & Europe.  He stages his immediate family to impart the truths & humour of family life and of photography itself in black-and-white imagery.  He depicts metaphors of family history, memories, & traditions that resonate with viewers.  These imperfect photographs reflect the physicality and the contempt for the work. Tim is included in the permanent collections of the Seattle Art Museum, the Gaia Collection, The Museum of Contemporary Photograpy of Chicago, and the Rose Museum. he has been reviewed in Art Forum, Modern Painters, and Art Review.
